While all opals are unique, this particular opal has a harlequin pattern, a galaxy pattern and a honeycomb pattern on the same stone!
Coming in at 18 carats, the size is one of the largest opals I have had the luxury of seeing in person.
This would make a great piece to wear on a necklace for any occasion!
The stone requires almost no light to flash brilliantly. Even in the dimmest light, the colors play very well.
There is a small inclusion in the back. It could be sanded more, but the stone would lose a carat or 2 easily just to remove a small blemish.
Something so perfect should not have to be carved further for an imperfection no bigger than any of ours.
This would make a great gift to show somebody how much they light up your life!
